Founder and Foundation
BioAcoustics, with emphasis on
human voice spectral analysis, was originated in 1982 by Sharry Edwards,
M.Ed.
BioAcoustics facilities are located in six countries plus those positioned
in the United States. At present 3000 persons have been trained with about
40% of those being medical practitioners. Not all of these individuals
are practicing. Approximately one-third of those trained take the course
to learn to become care-givers for chronic or critically ill family members.
